Meet the Writer: Jumplion
Jumplion is an American born High School student. He is the person that conjured up the idea of "Experiment 0009" and fortunately found Fanboy to make it into a reality. While seeing many other webcomics becoming successful, Jumplion decided that he too wanted in on the success, but wanted to make sure it was special and unique. Thus, "Experiment 0009" was born. He hopes that "Experiment 0009" will do well in the webcomic realms. Jumplion's hobbys include TV, food, and most of all Video Games.

Meet the Illustrator: Fanboy
Fanboy is a a Canadian born amateur artist and video game enthusiast. Being a whiz at photoshop, he grew a reputation for having god-like skills in image editing in a forum that Jumplion frequence in. Without him, "Experiment 0009" would be nothing more than a wisp of imagination in Jumplion's head. "Experiment 0009" is his first experience with web comic art, so constructive feedback is strongly encouraged.

Experiment 0009 is a Mature rated webcomic thought up and written by Jumplion and made possible by Fanboy. It is set in the far future, around 2100 or so, and will have action akin to the Xiao Xiao series and the Castle Series.
"Experiment 0009" tells the tale of, well, Experiment 0009. Experiment 0009 was "born" in a seceret facility built for research data of various kinds. He must survive the facility by any means, and that means to kill.
You see, to gather data, his "masters" drop him in a room with another experiment, and they must fight to the death. It's all in the name of science. He must either kill or be killed, and the former is preferable to the later.
I use a program called Pivot: Stickfigure Animator, and Fanboy photoshops everything I need to make it look pretty. If the top paragraph didn't give it away, and neither did the "Stickfigure" part of "Pivot: Stickfigure Animator", then you need a brain transplant. Yes, this comic is stylized and has stick people in it.
Normally you wouldn't consider stickfigure's to be dramatic and emotional, but this is what I aim for this comic to be.
"Experiment 0009" will be updated every Friday, but hopefully it'll get to the point where we can post twice a week.
Many stick-animations and stick-websites inspired this webcomic into frutition. Such series like the Xiao Xiao series and the Castle Series all had their part in inspiring this webcomic and the style of it. One particular stickpeople comic, XKCD, also inspired me to create this comic, but with an actual storyline rather than punchlines.
For this answer, you'll need to ask Jumplion;
To be honest, I never really intended it to have fully fleshed out humans. This answer to this comes in a few steps.
When I first started the idea of "Experiment 0009" a year or two ago I knew that I couldn't draw for my life. Nobody wants to read a poorly drawn webcomic, I know I don't. I was never a skilled artist, so drawing the webcomic was completely out of the question. So, I just decided to use stickpeople, and that was that. The thought of using fleshed out humans never even crossed my mind.
For the next couple of months, I concocted a story for the webcomic. A humour based comic was out of the question as well since A) I'm, admitedly, not as clever as I think and B) there is a HUGE influx gag-comics floating around. There aren't many webcomics that have a complete storyline to go through with, and once again I drew inspiration for the storyline from many other stick-series. Besides, I've never seen a stickfigure comic with a dramtic storyline, so as far as I know, I'm unique!
Later on as the idea went on, my friend decided to try and flesh out the main character for a start. (I'll post it when I get it) When I saw that picture, I immediately realized that this comic and storyline were meant for stickfigures. The thought of using humans never crossed my mind as I had using stickfigures set from the very begining. It astounded me. The whole entire story that I had planed was perfect for stickfigures, the only way to make the artwork fit the story is if it would be deep and complex.
This brings me to another reason, simplicity. So many webcomics nowadays barage you with detail after detail, making evey little pixel count. That is perfectly fine, however, it comes at the cost of making a single page slow and painful work. This is the main reason why I wanted to use a simple program like Pivot: Stickfigure Animator, so I would easily be able to pump out comics without delay and the only excuse I'd have would be that I was lazy.
However, even simplicity needs to give way to complexity. This is where Fanboy comes in. While Pivot is a very simple animation program to use, it is incredibly limited to what it can do. Even the Pivot 3 BETA is pretty limited compared to what you can do to edit pictures and such. I needed someone who could edit the pictures and pretty them up. At first I went to a friend, Richard_Groovy_Pants, but school and exam took over so he recomended another famous man amongst the hills, Fanboy. Simply put, if I didn't acquire Fanboy as the illustrator, this comic would never have gotten off the ground!
So Fanboy, if you're reading this, I love you.
For a TL;DR version, BECAUSE!

As of right now, "Experiment 0009" is going to be updated every week on Friday. However, since Fanboy and I work ahead of the comic, we may get to a point where we're far enough into the comic to be able to post twice a week, ideally Mondays and Fridays. Heck, if we get even farther, we could update two pages on those days!
